Elphine House Australia Challenge

Goodmorning all, today we start with a new challenge at Elphine House Australia and this time you have to create something that reminds you of a hot summer day. So I made this card for it and it reminds me of the hot summer days years ago (many years ago lol) when I was a little girl and I love to sit on the swing for hours.

This cutie is Carrie princess on a swing and Elisabeth Bell made this for Elphine House. I colored her with copic markers and paper pieced her dress with the same design paper I used for the card. It is from Authentique and comes from the Journey paperpad. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and comes from the All Smiles sentiment set. The flowers are from Prima and I used stickles stardust on them, just like I did on the brads. I used the Vintage Flourish Die Namics under the flower and I used a stamp from the Grunge Collection around my image and I used Cat's Eye Ink for that.
