March MFT GDC 'You Make Life Sweet'

This is my second post for today, please scroll down to see my Stamptacular Sunday Challenge post.

Hi all, yesterday I started with this Bookcorner for the Guest Designer Contest for My Favorite Things. This month Joanne and Jody challenged us to 'Hit the Books' and this is what I made for that Challenge. The tutorial is from Beate and can be found here on Splitcoast Stampers.

I used the sweet Pure Innocence 'Make mine a Double' stamp for the Bookcorner and I colored her with my Copics, you can find the numbers I used on the end of this post *wink. I used design paper from My Minds Eye also to dress her, and this is from the Miss Caroline 'Dolled Up' paperpad. I love the colors ;o) The doily is from My Favorite Things and is called 'Dainty Doily' and the flowers are made with the 'Pretty Posies' Die Namics. The sentiment I used is from the PI set and is stamped on Kraft with Versafine inkt, I love to use it for my sentiments because it is so beautiful black.

Here you see my Bookcorner and the book I am reading right now.

Here are the Die Namics I used for my Bookcorner

  7. That is so pretty. I have never done a book mark, but if I did I am sure it would not be that spectacular.
